As of my last update in January 2022, L'Oréal, which owns L'Oréal Professional, stated that they do not test their products or ingredients on animals, unless required by law. They are committed to developing alternative methods to animal testing and have invested significantly in research to advance these methods. However, it's important to check for the most current information, as policies and practices of companies can change over time.
